UW Equestrian Team

UWET is hosting our last regular show of the season and Regionals this weekend at Mandt Equestrian Center.  Come and show support for your favorite Badgers!

A big congratulations to all riders that competed at the Augustana horse show this weekend!  UWET brought home two High Point finishes and leaving us undefeated!  We are currently leading the region by 43 points!  On Sunday the team brought home 7 firsts and 5 second place ribbons!

UWET had a 2nd round of tryouts at the end of 1st semester and gained some new members.  Check out the new roster!

UWET will be heading to Ohio to compete in the Tournament of Champions September 23rd - 25th!  TOC is a series of three shows that are more competitive than Nationals.  Since it is an invite only series, only the top schools in the nation are asked to compete.  These shows are separate from our regional shows, so points don't count, but it will be a lot of fun!  The following riders will be representing our team:

We will be hosting our first show of the season on October 1st and 2nd.  We will be having work days the week before.

After winning Reserve Zone Champions in April, Wisconsin Equestrian has arrived at the Kentucky Horse Park to represent Zone 7 at IHSA Nationals. The following riders have qualified:

It's official! The UW Equestrian Team are the very first Zone 7 Region 4 Champions! The last season horse show in Illinois allowed many riders to point out and solidified UWET's position at Zone Finals on April 10th. We aren't resting on our laurels though... We are training hard for Regionals and Zones and look forward to meeting our new competitors from down south!
